Domain exceptions approval

Greetings,
Im building a 'daily challenge' game, where users place predictions on music artists' hype. The goal is to enable data-driven discussion about music trends, by bringing external data, and gamifying its access on Reddit.
My app heavily depends on having access on data from external sources to Reddit. I have already submitted the Domain Exception for the API I'd like to use, but I'm worried it will not be approved in time for me to complete my hackathon submission.
Is there any way to come in contact with Reddit, and possibly expedite the approval of Domain exceptions for apps competing in the Hackathon?
