[Action Required] Important Reminders for Reddit Daily Games Submissions
There is one day left in the Reddit Daily Games Hackathon! We're so excited to see all the incredible ideas you have come up with for this challenge. We wanted to send a few reminders as you finalize your submissions.
Make sure your submission is properly updated
[Action Required] If you submitted your project prior to February 4th, please note that our submission form was updated to include required fields that were previously missing. To ensure your app remains eligible, please update your submission to include all required responses. See the update on this here. If you edit your submission and all the required fields are filled in -- you're good!
Submission Reminders
- Videos must be 1 minute or less, if submitted
- Your app must be uploaded to developers.reddit.com
- Your app must be viewable in a test subreddit
- Make sure that your testing subreddit is set to public
- Submit the feedback survey to be eligible for the feedback award
Your app does **not** need to go through app review
Your app only needs to be uploaded to Reddit and be installed in a test subreddit. You do not need to run devvit publish for your app to be elligable. As long as it's on developers.reddit.com and installed in a testing community, you do not need to worry about posting on r/gamesonreddit or going through further publishing flows.
Nominate a helper
As you finalize your submissions we do hope you'll keep our helper prize in mind. Did someone help you test your game? Did they point you to an important resource? Did they debug with you or review your code? Nominate them! You can do this when you submit your project.
